At first, it seems like a nice place to live. There's a pool and a fitness center on site and my apartment even had a little balcony. Appearances are deceiving. The walls and floors are INCREDIBLY thin. I had to sleep with earplugs every night and even with earplugs, I was still woken by my upstairs neighbors walking around and slamming drawers and closet doors at all hours of the night/morning. The floors are so thin I could literally hear the upstairs neighbors using the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, I have had nightmares with the ceiling leaking. Not only did my ceiling leak, but the cause of the leak is a mystery, which means that my ceiling has leaked and been "fixed" four times now. The building now owes me money for the damages the leaks have caused to my personal property. That being said, the maintenance guys are very kind and always reported right away to my calls, but I'm fairly positive they all know me by name at this point since they have come to fix my ceiling over and over again. The fitness center looked great from a distance. Once I paid the deposit and got my key, I found out that several of the machines weren't working. Not only that, but the one TV in the room is busted and looks like someone got angry and beat up on it. I highly doubt the TV will be replaced anytime soon. Overall, I absolutely hate this place. There's always police outside the building, which doesn't make a girl living alone feel too safe. I have more complaints about this place than I can express, but bottom line is there are way better apartments in the area for a much better price than this dump. Seek elsewhere for apartment living. Trust me.
