Seven Oaks Apartments

The parking is not a problem for residents unless you get home late. It is often noisy in the apartments. The quality of the construction is not great so you can hear the goings on of your neighbors pretty well. There are many young people living here who tend to be noisy -- parties, sex etc. They frequently smoke cigarettes both inside their apartments and outside the building which filters into the neighboring apartments. The outside appearance of the buildings is somewhat depressing, although the management has made some strides to improve this in recent years. There are also many dogs here and you can hear them barking in the neighboring apartments. You'll need to watch out for dog poo when walking around the property. The staff is very nice and quite responsive to the needs of residents. The gym is a big plus! There is a pool in the summer. You have to pay extra for the gym and pool. The apartment layouts are good. Laundry machines are in the units. The complex is very conveniently located in the Borough of West Chester within walking distance to downtown. I would NOT recommend this place as a long term living arrangement. It is too noisy and it reminds me of living in a college dorm. The plusses are the location, gym, and staff. The rent is getting a bit expensive for what you get.
