The property manager is rude and unprofessional. The units include heat and cooling and its set at 72 degrees F, though in the winter the bedrooms commonly drop into the 67-68 degree range. The sliding glass doors lets lots of cold in and the Living Room is not so comfortable. In the summer, the A/C keeps the unit in the 75-76 degree range. We live in the middle floor, I suppose temperatures differ on the other floors. Noise in you apartment, the floors are like a drum, you hear every footstep, every cry of a child. If you have children and live here, expect to be threatened by the property manager with lease termination for noise generated by simply living, if the tenant below wants to complain. The kitchen is very small and the counter space is minimal. Make sure you take pictures of any defects when you move in and bring them to the attention of management. Likewise when you leave. Residents are not responsible for normal wear an tear. After three years we did not any deposit lease interest money, so make sure you request it. The grounds are attractive and well maintained. Snow and Ice is generally take care of in a reasonable time. Your free storage room in a small chicken wire enclosed area that is damp and storing anything there of value is not recommended. The balcony is supposed to be spacious enough for lawn furniture. Now that's a joke. Shopping is plentiful and a Lanta bus is at hand. The Whitehall-Coply school district is better than most. The appliances are base models and function as such. The refrigerator/freezer for the 3 BR apartment is quite modest. Closet space is adequate for an apartment. There have been several break-in's in the past two years during the day when people were not home. A side note, a very large number of Indian families live in this complex. Overall, the property manager and the through the floor noise make it not so good for the non lower level units.
