I have been living in a Helfrich Springs apartment with my husband and baby for nearly a year, and, overall, we have been very pleased with it. The bedrooms are particularly spacious, the appliances are new and work well, the utilities and parking are included, there is ample storage, security circles the premises routinely (and I would feel pretty safe anyway), and maintenance has been necessary only once, at which time we were provided with prompt service. The only thing that has made living here less than ideal (within our price-range) is the noise. I can handle the floor creaking and doors shutting, but if our neighbors don't turn on the fan in the bathroom, well, you can guess the result. The children run through the hallways and up and down the stairs and participate in screaming competitions. They frequently stand in the hallway outside of our apartment and scream back and forth, becoming louder, and louder with each bellow (you know, as soon as the baby falls asleep). It seems particularly unnecessary as there is plenty of wonderful, grassy lawn outside, as well as a playground and swimming pool. Of course, this may not be a problem in every building and may change in time. Just beware of building Q for now.
