I've lived at this building for a number of years, and loved it until they began letting the spoiled animals, ooops, I mean "wilkes students" in. The building has changed ownership, the name changed to "University Towers", the rent was instantly jacked up, and the terrible attitude of the college brats has gotten worse. They have quickly realized that building managment does not care what they do, and that they get away with pretty much anything, so long as the rent is paid (which is goverment subsidized, by the way) so these brats have absolutely nothing to lose. Regular tennants only have one warning if they break the rules in the lease agreement, however the Wilkes animals recieve special treatment. They get a "3 Strikes" rule, which has yet to be enforced. I think that is discrimination, also. Most of them probably have 30 strikes, with no reprimand.

At "University Towers", you'll find pleasures of coming home....such as drugs, beer parties, filthy elevators, garbage in the hallways, excessisve noise, weird drug addicted people now hanging around the building, along with extremely rude treatment from the spoiled brats who have the nerve to talk about the "possesivness" of the elderly that have just happened to live in this building for 25 years.

Unless you don't want to live in a subway station, paying ANY dollar amount to live in this building and be abused by the trash that are quickly ruining the place is just insanity.

The good points to the building are that it's well-built, nicely apportioned, quick maintenance repsonse. The downside (in addition to the spoiled WIlkes brats) are that people routinely take your parking spot (generally the Wilkes brats, or thier drug addicted / alcoholic freinds) and you run the risk of a vanalized vehicle if you have that person towed. Apparently college brats can't read the signs that are posted every 15 feet stating that it's reserved parking. Also, the on-site security which is most likely added into your rent is a joke. Drug dealers, hookers, and generally shady people are brave enough to roam through the parking lot, rather than stay off in the shadows.

Do yourself a favor....DON'T move here !!!!
