5 Spring Furniture Essentials

Spring furniture in light shades can give your house a fresh and bright look. It’s best to choose furniture that’s comfortable and ergonomic. In addition, the furniture you select should be light and contemporary to add a touch of spring to your home.

1. Light Shades

The couches and armchairs in your living room should have pastel shades, including beige or white. Decorative cushions can be covered in upholstery with floral designs to give the furniture a spring-like appeal. Occasional tables should have glass tops or surfaces that are reflective to add brightness to the room.

2. Bedroom Furniture

Minimalist furniture in the bedroom in light colors is ideal for the spring. The furnishings can have floral motifs to impart a touch of color and brightness.

3. Kitchen Furniture

Kitchen cabinets should be painted in bright colors such as apple green, baby blue or white. Cabinets with working surfaces can serve a dual purpose and save space. Floral motifs on the panels of the cabinets can give a spring-like atmosphere.

4. Outdoor Furniture

Wicker outdoor furniture can be a nice way of brightening up the garden or patio. Other alternatives are plastic furniture that’s cheap and easy to keep clean or wooden furniture. Chairs and tables in white, blue or green can make your patio look brighter and more welcoming.

5. Furniture Arrangement

You should rearrange your furniture to make all the rooms appear fresh and airy rather than cozy and warm as they were in the winter. This can be achieved by pulling the furniture away from the walls. The furniture can also be placed at angles to give the room a new look.

The selection and arrangement of furniture can help give your house a spring-like air.
