This place is ok if you can't find any other affordable place that allows pets. We paid $795/month for a small 2 bedroom and that included heat and hot water. They don't charge a pet fee but there is a $400 pet deposit in addition to the regular deposit (equal to the rent). There was new carpet installed right before we moved in. There is 1 washer and 1 dryer per building and it costs $1 to wash & $1 to dry. Each apartment gets a small storage unit in a room downstairs. Parking is not assigned but we never had trouble finding a spot. The grounds are not maintained very well. In the fall no one came to take care of the leaves. My roommate actually ended up raking them himself because they caked the walkway and were very slippery when wet. They did snow plow adequately. Maintenance responds rather promptly - considering you have to leave a message. That is the main problem with the Franklin Group - they don't give you a phone number that will ever lead to a live person. After we signed our lease, if we called and had a question - we never received a call back. Our emails went unanswered as well. It was very frustrating! Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you just need an affordable apartment where you can have a pet and you don't expect much from the management staff.
