Here's why I ended up canceling my application to live at Hunter's Glen. And to anyone reading this--please notice that there are 3 reviews from May 1st, 2008--fishy to anyone?
I went into the office (my second time, after I'd turned in an application) to ask a few questions, and come to find out I'd been mislead by the person who gave me the tour about several things. I also had yet to hear when I'd be signing a lease and when they would notify me about which apartment I'd be in, etc. On top of all of this, I was kept waiting for nearly 10 minutes in an office with no other residents or customers around... I believe she said she was on a phone call with her upper management, but I would like to believe that upper management could (and would) wait so that the resident may be tended to--she never said a word to me while I was waiting, and a similar thing happened when I had gone in to turn in my deposit and application!
Honestly, I got the feeling that I was just another customer to them, they didn't seem to want to pay the same attention to me when I came in after I'd already applied to be a resident... the Summit and Reserve at Clemson both were more friendly and professional. I lost my deposit, but gained my piece of mind knowing that I'm more satisfied where I'm going to be living.
