Resident 2017 - 2018

10/30/2018

I would not recommend anyone to live here unless they want to be ignored and undervalued. My apartment was "inspected" after the hurricane LAST YEAR and the bubble that formed underneath the paint in my guest bathroom still has not been fixed. They came in to redo outlets right after I had my baby and left exposed wires and holes in the wall for almost a week before cleaning up after themselves. When moving in, I was not aware that the attic space had no lock and since it's an apartment complex, and ovviously all connected, it would be very easy for someone to come into my apartment from their own. That was a SUPER reassuring thing to figure out considering we almost put my daughter's crib in that room. This year with the threat of Hurricane Florence, I lost about a week of work. I had called knowing my rent would be late and accepting the late fees, just to communicate when I would be able to pay. They said over the phone it was fine but the day after the office opened again, I had an ejectment notice. The women who work in the office are not friendly. I do my best to avoid talking to them at all. They don't care about you, they just care about your money. Rent is way overpriced for the way they run things around here. Doing the bare minimum and nothing more.
