I lived in Beacon Ridge in 2006.
Let me start off by saying that I can recommend this apartment complex without hesitation. It is a great place to live.

All of the staff members are professional, friendly, and very accommodating to any requests.
The complex is very conveniently located next to the interstate for quick access to downtown.
The office is open late, so it is easy to pick up packages from the office after work. And if I knew I was going to be late from work, I could, with the proper form filled out, have an office member drop my package inside my apartment door. Very convenient.
In my experience, any maintenance work was completed within a day, without any resistance from the office. And this included some big chores, such as replacing a rusty water heater. They also, during my stay here, renovated the exterior of the entire complex (new roofs, fresh paint, pressure washed all wooden surfaces). Again the management is very committed to keeping the complex as a nice place to live.
The landscaping crew does a good job of keeping the place trimmed and tidy.
Never really had any problems with insects, just the occasional spider. The exterminators come on a weekly basis, you just have to put in a request to the office.

Sound insulation and the fitness center are my only complaints.
The walls are pretty thin, so any time a car drove by (I lived next to the main complex road), someone shut their car door, or had a conversation in the parking lot/on their patio, I could hear it from one of the bedrooms.
The fitness center leaves a lot to be desired, but what apartment's doesn't?
In all though, these minor issues aren't not enough of a negative for me not to recommend the place.

Overall, Beacon Ridge is a great place to live and I enjoyed my stay there. I only moved out because a friend just bought a house and I moved in there for some very cheap rent. Otherwise, I'm positive I'd still be living there.
