My wife and I moved in Nov. 02, and had problems with the Heater. Since we were the first to occupy this newly built townhome, noone had lived in it to discover all the craftsmanship problems. The heater took about three months to fix. It wasn´t the managements fault; it was the HVAC repairman who was nice but inexperienced. They finally hired an outside agency and they immediately discovered a short in the thermostat wiring. My wife and I were fairly unconfortable for about three months, but they did reimburse me for my abnormally high electric bills for those three months, and because of the inconvenience, they paid for a digital thermostat and installation. The townhome comes with analog. So, even though we had an unpleasant experience, the way the management handled it was above and beyond. The only thing that is causing us to move is that they do not allow pets. In fact, the owner hates pets. The square footage and age of townhome is hard to find in area for the same price range. In fact, the townhomes behind us, Peppertree, still uses wall unit AC´s, which they will tell you is more efficient (whatever), and they charge about $100 more per month. If you are stationed at Charleston AFB, it is a two minute drive with traffic. They still don´t offer military discount though. Overall, it has been a good experience at Willow Ridge, and I recommend it.
