I didn't absolutely hate living there, but be aware of a few things.
-They may look nice, as they've updated them, but it's like a bandaid. These are OLD buildings. The HVAC is probably 30 years old. You hear everyone around you. The floors squeak EVERYWHERE, so get used to that. Another reviewer said "poor quality with a fresh coat of paint". This is absolutely the best way to put it.
-The staff, for the most part, is nice, and they always took care of any maintenace requests right away. The 2nd star I'm rating is due to this.
-Have pets? Get ready - It's absolutely disgusting. There is dog crap all over the grounds. I don't think they bother to keep it clean except for providing the bags. If you're paying pet fees, they need to enforce the "pick up after your pet" rules. They don't. At all.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST. A few days before moving out, we noticed a water leak in the maintenance closet behind the water heater. Immediately when we noticed this, likely 24-48 hours after it began, since we were using that room to move stuff out of, we called them to schedule maintenace.
Welp, guess what? They charged us nearly $300 to fix the drywall due to their crappy water heater and pipes, and were ADAMANT about us paying that, even though the lease said to call immediately upon seeing anything like such.
My suggestion is to find another place to live, maybe even the place right behind the views, because these apartments have a lot of issues and you might just get charged $300 for their crappy appliances breaking.
