Overall, a positive experience with Northshore Village, which was our first apartment renting experience. In my time here, the staff has been pleasant and helpful. I haven't had any problems with noise (but my wife and I do live on the top floor), and the property always looks very nice. We enjoyed the new appliances in our apartment, though a 1 bedroom does not have a ton of cabinet space. If you are looking for a larger kitchen, a 2 bedroom is definitely the way to go. Our apartment had hardwood floors which looked very nice and were easy to clean. Maintenance could be a little more responsive, but when they did fix things, they were fixed correctly. While we do not utilize it, the 24-hour workout room is a really nice part of the property. Having washer/dryer hookups in the apartment is very nice, and it was nice having an onsite laundry facility while we were waiting for our washer/dryer to be delivered. We had a great time here and will miss our little one-bedroom when we move away. I would definitely recommend Northshore Village to one of my friends as a very nice starter apartment, as it is a good mix between great price and great features, especially compared to what you pay for the same amenities at other apartments around the city.
