Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We know that you are unhappy with the situation with your water bill and we do sympathize with your frustration. We understand that things come up and lifestyles change. You do have the option to find someone to take over the remainder of your lease agreement, which would remove you from the lease agreement. In regards to your water bill, you are responsible for the utilities of water and electric for the lease term. We have and will continue to troubleshoot your water meter issue until a resolution is found. As you mentioned, we have conducted several inspections in your home and have been helping you by scheduling additional readings with the water company. I can assure you that any issues that arise are very important to us and resident satisfaction is our number one priority. We apologize sincerely that you have had this unfortunate experience. The only reason why we did not host anything directly for the minors in the community was due a lack of interest from those contacted. As I mentioned when you came in upset about your vehicle, we recommend residents to contact the police in situations like this. We are aware that your car windows were left open all night. Vandalism can happen anywhere, at the mall, at the grocery store, and even at a controlled access gated community. We try to our very best to educate our residents on standard safety precautions that they should employ in the community and anywhere else that they may be. We are aware that you have requested pest control to come into your home twice and the pest control contractor was able to spray your home within days of your request. We have hired some very talented military spouses over the years and unfortunately their departures were a result of their spouse's permanent changes in duty stations and other matters related to the military lifestyle. We have never had a resident report a package to be stolen. We will sign for your package and hold it in the office for you to retrieve if the carrier requires a signature. It is advised that you contact the carrier to ensure that they left the package instead of taking it back. One of the advantages of our community is having 26 expansive acres of land to allow our community more privacy. With this additional land comes an increase of wildlife. We are continuing to try to humanely remove these stray cats from the community. Like all communities in our area, we require a 60 day notice to vacate without military orders. Renewal rates may increase based on the market and is an industry standard. We do offer you the options of finding someone to take over your lease or moving out and us finding someone to move in if you need to terminate your contract. If you choose the latter, you are financially responsible for the home until a new resident moves in or your contract ends, whichever comes first. When it rains it is expected to have some standing water on the ground. We dedicated the entire summer to having a contractor on the property reconstructing our breezeways to help reduce this water. Our maintenance team works hard to prevent icing and spreads salt and ice-melting products prior to expecting a freeze. We are pleased that our one bedrooms are actually some of the largest in the market. Our maintenance team was happy to remove those doors for you but we do not have the capacity to store doors for every resident. The one bedroom has a perfect storage closet on the patio to store miscellaneous items such as these closet doors! We appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to address your concerns.

We also completely understand your frustration with the gate. It is an attractive amenity but can be touchy at times. If someone hits the gate it can take a few days to get it repaired. We definitely try to get the gate repair company out ASAP so we can get it working again - typically within 24-48 hours. We agree that our location is phenomenal! Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. We hate that you have had a negative experience and would like to address a few of your issues. First, we find it unfortunate that you feel our team is rude or unprofessional. We have been complimented on many occasions for having a team that is willing to go above and beyond to try to meet our residents' needs. We know that there are circumstances of disagreement between the management team and residents due to lease violations, damage charges, and other related issues - but enforcing policy and ensuring that we are treating everyone equally and fairly is our goal. Secondly, we do sometimes raise rent rates. Sometimes, we have a great move in deal that allows people to move in at a much reduced rate. After the lease expires, we may choose to increase the rate to help meet the rate that new move ins are currently paying. We also have a higher rate for shorter term leases. This is a market standard, and something you will likely experience at any apartment community. I also know that phone/cell phone, internet, cable, satellite, alarm system, gym or health memberships, electricity service, water service, etc. all operate in a similar fashion, which is why you may have experienced increases with these companies yearly or at the end of a contract.Thirdly, we have never had a complaint about the trustworthiness of our maintenance technicians. In fact, we regularly receive compliments about their performance, positive attitudes, and how knowledgeable they are. Thank you very much for taking the time to submit a review. I understand that you have some concerns about the turnover rate in our office. We do not agree with your statement about employee turnover. We have hired several talented and experienced military spouses to assist in the management of our community. As a result, we have had a small number of employees relocate from the area because of the military lifestyle (PCS, retirement, deployment, etc.). As with most rental agencies, we adhere to the signed lease agreement and do not make verbal agreements. This is to protect the company and the resident from any false/untrue claims or promises.
