My lease is up in March and I'm terrified of how much I'm going to owe them. After moving in, I've heard so many horror stories... some that go back as far as 10 years of being sued for rediculous amounts of money.

What I can complain about is... The dishwashers are a joke, so are the garbage disposals... The maint. staff is better at covering up a problem than actually fixing it (but they are very nice guys) The carpet was laid so poorly that it started fraying a month into my lease (which I'm 100% positive I will pay top dollar for them to repair.) Someone needs to have a meeting with the leasing office staff about their attitudes, but somehow they manage to do their jobs. And make sure you don't live near a dumpster b/c they let them get completely full before emptying (IF they even do it then... usually people resort to leaving trash on the pavement... classy huh??) The water pressure is great, but be sure to put a decent shower head on or else the one that is supplied will empty your hot water tank in 5-7 minutes (I recommend one of the "rain" shower heads, that's going to guarantee atleast a 20 minute shower with hot water.) Parking has never been a problem for me, but I live very close to the circular drive around the pool... If you live in the back, good luck finding parking if you're not close to the pool.

The back of the property is generally quiet and I hadn't had any issues with my neighbors until October... An older man moved in a few doors down and I haven't felt safe since. *I should add that I'm a single female* I've recently been awaken in the middle of the night from younger people racing their cars and then screaming about who "won". People drive so fast through the complex that honestly, it's not even worth going for a walk and risking getting hit... And where is the "security guard" to stop all the late night chaos?? SLEEPING by the pools...

Let's just say they let ANYONE in these apartments... and again, no, I do not feel safe.

I can't wait to move... but like I said before, I'm terrified of the battle ahead. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nothing terrible happens in the next two months. And I will NEVER live in a Sunshine property again... NEVER =)
