I have lived at this property for close to 18 months, and I could not be happier that I am moving out next week. Before Bell and Partners bought our complex, I loved living here. It was clean, the office staff was great, maintenance issues were taken care of immediately, and it was just an all around nice place to live. Cut to Bell taking over...rent went up from 1240 to 1565, not including the valet trash that they make you pay for, and various other fees. My roommates and I work crazy schedules because we are in the restaurant industry, so it's not always feasible for us to put our trash out in the "allowed hours". On more than one occasion I was getting ready to take the trash down to the compactor and set it outside my door so I could grab the rest of my stuff and head out, but by the time I got outside I had a nasty note from maintenance and $100 fine...This happened twice...even though my disgusting (and extremely loud) neighbors leave their trash out all day, every day. I have not once seen a fine stuck to their door. We have also been fined for the satellite dish that we have, although we had them come out to our unit to explain to our directv rep. how it needed to be installed $150...we were fined for "trash on our patio" because a can was sitting on our patio table when the guy on the golf cart drove by...$75. Moral of the story is, they will fine you for anything and everything that they can think of. Throughout our time here, there was never any parking near our building. As a young, single woman, I felt extremely uncomfortable walking all the way to my apartment after getting home from my bar at 4am. There were always shady looking teenage boys hanging out on our steps, we had to have the police come out and deal with domestic disturbances from 3 out of four of our immediate neighbors...the "security gate" is a joke, and now they have figured out a way to force you to buy a key card. (good luck with that working on a regular basis) The management staff is the most worthless excuse for a group of people that I have ever dealt with. If you don't get a blank stare when talking to them, you get a horrible attitude and very rude, short answers. Need something done in a hurry...it'll never happen. Concerned about the flames that shoot out of your outdoor light when you turn it on? Don't worry "just don't turn that light on anymore". You may be able to get them to pay attention to --------------------------- while they are out ------- it up -----------------...which as a bartender, I can attest that they're out pretty much every night getting trashed and making themselves and the property look even worse. All in all, this was the worst experience I have had in an apartment complex in the ten years that I have been renting. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!
