Sterling Hills is a nice, mostly quiet apartment community. The outdoor views and comunnity spaces are good. The gym area is too small for more than two people at once, but well equipped for the space that is available. Apartments range in sizes and amount of upkeep. Rent increases every year by about $15-$25. Maintenance issues are handled quickly and efficiently. Office staff is friendly and welcoming. The biggest downer for me is that you can definitely tell the age of the apartments when you walk inside and see cracks in the walls and ceilings and bad repair jobs. Overall, I think it makes for a good place to start at when first moving to the area or for university students who want to live off campus in a quiet community.
