I've lived in a one-bedroom apartment at Cherokee Ridge for about a year and a half now. I have not been disappointed once. The management at the office is super friendly! They're always willing to listen to concerns and help. The maintenance guy is great! He fixes problems within 24 hours if not sooner. The rent is reasonable for the space you get. I live alone, and a one bedroom has been perfect for me. The pool is a lot bigger than I expected it to be before it opened. They have a fitness room inside the leasing office. I haven't figured out how to get in as it's always been locked when I go to check my mail. The only real "problem" I can speak of is bugs. I've had quite a few cockroaches since I moved in. They have an exterminator spray every two months, but I noticed that he only sprayed half the apartment. Since I moved in, there was a burglary in the building behind mine. Someone broke into one of the two bedrooms, which have outdoor access versus one bedrooms that you have to walk inside to get to. As someone else said, there's no light fixture in the bedroom. These used to be UT apartments. I'm not sure why there's not more lighting than there is. Also, there is no central heat/air. There's a unit in the living room, but it doesn't heat/cool the entire apartment by any means.
