I have lived here for a year while going to graduate school and love it. The one bedroom apartments aren't huge but it's been plenty of room for me and my boyfriend. They are old but many of them have been remodeled recently and ours had new carpet put in right before we arrived. I really like the landscaping around the buildings and had a lot of fun swimming in the pool over the summer. There is an exercise room in the main building but the equipment is a little outdated and not the best. There is also a business center with free wireless internet which came in handy when a huge storm knocked out my buildings power for several days. The maintenance man is the best! Our hot water heater broke and began leaking one weekend so we called him and in no time at all he was knocking on our door with a brand new one. Everything was fixed in less than a couple hours of us spotting the problem, and on a Saturday! The old property manager was wonderful! Very friendly and always helpful, but she just moved to Nashville and was replaced by a new lady so I don't know how that might change things. She seems very nice from my limited interactions with her so far. Animals are welcome after a pet deposit. Caged animals, like birds or my two guinea pigs, do not require any kind of deposit however. We have had some noisy neighbors but not bad enough for me to feel like I need to complain to anyone. Just a couple fighting in the parking lot and my downstairs neighbor can be pretty loud sometimes, though I think she might be an exceptional case. Overall, I have really enjoyed living here and am sad that I will be leaving soon.
