The only good thing about these apartments are their prices. If you can afford to pay a little more, do it and save yourself the problem. This is an apartment complex that thrives off of taking money from people and overcharging. Management is what makes these apartments the worst ever. They're completely unwilling to assist in resolving any issues and are extremely rude especially the Assistant Property Manager. Management feels that they have the right to enter your apartment whenever they please. There would be numerous times where me or my roommate would be in the living room half clothed and suddenly we'd hear a key in our door. They're currently "renovating" the property when it all actuality they're just putting nicer framing on top of the damaged and rotted wood from the building. Be careful when it comes to overages. They may convince you that electric, water, and sewer are included when actually they only pay $45 per person living in the apartment towards utilities. They'll even try and charge you for things they'll admit was "their error". My last month living there I was told they had made an error with my billing for overages back in July and August of 2016 and were adding it to my February rent. Not to mention they made me aware of this ON FEBRUARY 1 THE DAY RENT WAS DUE! Adding $167 to my rent for February. When it all came down to it and I contacted the third party company about my overages after over a week of asking the office staff for a break down of how they calculated $167. The third party company told me it was actually only $54 from the months July and August. Just another way of them trying to overcharge me to get extra money. Needless to say there were also issues upon me moving out. Bottom line is be careful if you choose to live here. Any thing you feel is illegal or suspicious, look into it and document it as you do it. Take pictures when you move in and complain about any issues with your apartment IN WRITING so that when you move out they can't try and charge you for it.
