Woodlands of Knoxville
Resident · 2016 - 2017
I don't even know where to start. Living at the woodlands has been the absolute worst experience. Starting with move in day, my move in date was pushed back multiple times due to the staff not working to get everything "move in ready" and when I finally arrived my apartment was in shambles. Doors hanging off the hinges, the door missing on my microwave, a pantry door missing, dirty carpets, broken towel racks, etc. For the staff to say that it was "move in ready" is completely unacceptable. My roommate and I turned in our required document stating everything that needed to be fixed, only to have those items ignored and now the office "can't find our document". We turned that sheet in August 2016, and now after putting in a maintenance request for the past 7 months, we just now in Feb got a door put back on our pantry. Along with that, we did not have cable or internet in our unit for the first week of living here. They told me it would be another two weeks until a Comcast rep could come set it up. (students need access to internet to complete class assignments). I contacted the Comcast rep personally and had to argue with them until they finally told me someone could come the next day. Aside from that, while I was moving in, a man walked into my apartment and told me he needed to PAINT MY BEDROOM while I was moving furniture in. Also, there is not any information about after-hours maintenance and I had a lock-out experience where the staff basically told me I was inconvenience because my issue didn't happen between 9-5. Each encounter with the woodlands staff is unbearable and extremely unprofessional. Throughout the past 7 months, my roommate and I have had numerous issues that the staff can never seem to help with. The front desk workers are clueless and I have been given wrong information on multiple occasions. I would not recommend this complex to ANYONE. Do not waste your money.
