Since I've been here(for three months) I've seen 15 days without water(because they have weekly pipe breaks), one building burned down due to an issue with old wiring, we've had 8 shootings, and I've constantly been treated like a dog by the staff here. We can't keep any maintenance people because the women in the office are so horrible and catty to everyone else that works here. We have one maintenance guy that is really sweet and has been here for over 10 years but he's the only reason anything gets done. I had a horrible leak in my bathroom that started on a Sunday and I called and I call and I called the office probably 20 times.... they got back to me on Wednesday.... in the summer and fall though, they claimed that they had someone come out and spray for bugs weekly but we never saw them and we couldn't go outside because you would come back in with 20 plus bites on you in seconds. Not to mention, they were coming in our window that the apartment never fixed (the old tenents had a break in) while I had an infant in our house. If she had gotten zika or west Nile (which were in our area) I would've sued. Over all, if rent was free I wouldn't recommend it to a homeless person.
