The apartments are very spacious, consist of upstairs and downstairs so right away you remove the possibility of loud neighbors above. Kinda old-ish apartments, with very poor (i.e., no) insulation such that whatever the temp is outside, that's pretty much what it will be inside unless you wanna pay through the nose to keep it semi-decent. Parking is ample, but comes with a catch: break-ins seem to be a common occurrence, and the lighting situation and proximity to questionable neighborhoods only encourages this (but, this is Memphis, and it's sadly to be expected). Upkeep has been fair, responsive and unintrusive office staff (though early on we had to complain to the corporate office to get an apparently long-standing problem with our roof fixed). Street-noise is an issue if you face Central, otherwise I imagine it's pretty quiet. All in all I can't complain about it too much and given different circumstances would continue living here.
