I love my apartment, the convenience of its location (immediate access to highway, shopping, gas, etc). I feel safe in my home, and disturbances are extremely rare. The office staff appears to be friendly and professional, and I like the community engagement initiatives that they employ. However, parking is an issue. It's difficult to park near my building, which is annoying. Additionally, I feel that service has declined since Fogelman Property Management took over. Grounds upkeep appears neglected, and that's a major issue for me, considering how much it costs to stay here. There are mushrooms in the grass on the grounds, the foliage is no longer properly trimmed, the walkways are not pressure washed, exterior pest control does not appear to be maintained (lots of cobwebs, dead bugs, etc). The common pool area is beautiful, but the beauty is under minded by the sour smelling refrigerator, the broken ice machine, and the broken television. Once, corporate had to be contacted just to get a grounds upkeep request completed, and it still wasn't done properly. Overall, I think Carter Haston was a better management company, at least from the maintenance perspective, but I still enjoy living here.
