I have lived here for 2 years and dont consider it too bad. Pros: Awesome location, safe area, 2 swimming pools, nice interior, maintenance quick. Cons: Very expensive, can be noisy with all of these Vandy college students, and they dont upkeep the apartments. In the 2 years I lived here, they changed the air filters only 3 or maybe 4 times, mold was growing on the air ducts. Thankfully a really nice maintanence person came to change all of the filters and she washed and cleaned all of the moldy areas on the duct plates. Many people have dogs here (including myself) and I received quite a few notes on my door about complaints that my dog was off the leash...when I called to tell them that A)everyone's dog is off the leash and B) my dog cant be off the leash for a second because he has ADD and will run away in a heartbeat so it couldnt possibly be me....they just said they received "several" reports. Still not sure what the heck they are talking about but I'm sure there is a hidden fee somewhere for this.
Last, I have sent quite a few noise complaints in to the courtesy officer, and the response is a voice mail...I even called the office and their response was "well that tenant will move out next month."
Overall, the neighbors are really nice, I feel safe, the pools are nice in the summer, the decor is fairly new and nice, but rent is insanely overpriced. Seriously, $1000 for a 1 BR apt is ridiculous. Oh and the gate is always broken...usually because people try to tailgate you through because the phone pad never works.
