7/20/07 To Whom It May Concern: I have been a resident of Hampton Chase Apartments in Nashville, Tn for 4 years and have intend to upgrade to a two bedroom next year. However, I have never experienced the amount of trouble I have within the past 6 months. It took a month for my carpet to be cleaned (and that was even 3 months after it should have been done) July 3, 2007 I reported that the light in my kitchen did not work. I was told by Adam that We just got a new maintenance supervisor The same thing I was told initially when I called about my carpet. Finally, July 13, 2007 I was informed that no one had been to look in my apartment because the key was lost. July 17, 2007 after I had to call from work everyday (when I could get someone because the office hours are a mystery) my light was fixed or something close to it. July 19, 2007 they replaced the locks and called to tell me I could pick up my key from the office that would be open until six. I got home at 5:35 p.m. and the office was closed. They ONLY reason I was able to enter my home was because I caught the maintenance man who opened the office and got them for me. This morning July 20, 2007 I was late to work because despite the efforts of my self and my neighbor the door will lock but the key would not come out. I am truly at my wits end and feel as if I have been more than patient. The manager Leah Mullins has been nice and apologetic but I don t feel as though enough is being done. My light in the kitchen still has to warm up but after 2 weeks of calling daily I just use the light from the dining room. But my locks need to be replaced today. The work performed was unacceptable. In addition to needing oil to remove the key from the lock after you lock it, the dead bolt barely turns from the inside. Please address these issues immediately and take steps to improve the management. I expect my locks to be changed today and the light to be dealt with by July 27, 2007 or I will take my concerns to the Better Business Bureau or seek other counsel. Sincerely,
