PROS: - Ponds - Great places to walk - Target and other shops next door. - Nice neighbors - Descent size and appliances in apartment CONS: - Surcharges add an additional $150 not expressed in the lease - Terrible office staff that ALL live in the complex (gets frustrated if you come into the office after 5PM, talk down to you when you're a new tenant and don't understand all rules but ask questions) - Lease isn't clearly explained (I was out of state when I signed and I had a staff member go through the lease with me when I arrived in less than 15 minutes with no room for questions) (ie. that you must connect power and water immediately to your apartment on contract date, even if you move in after that date.) - Lots of families walk with children at night - Unexplained surcharges on bill - Airplane traffic is constant - Constant moving trucks in complex (people must not be staying for long) I am overall unhappy with my experience. We just moved here in July. Our contract started prior and I was never made aware of the ramifications of not moving in immediately after the lease start date. My roommate wasn't made aware of any of this either. After paying the UDR-based fees for not doing this, we were told that trash pickup was included in rent, it is not. We were told that our water bill was included, it is not. We also aren't allowed to seek other companies to supply water. All in all, I would have been comfortable with paying these fees separately but I wish I was made aware prior. I find the frustration with the staff not expanding on the information is mutual in not receiving it... Best of luck!
