I lived here for 6 months and got out as SOON as I could. I really needed a place that was decent with cheap rent when I started going to school and figured this would be perfect for me. WRONG.
I only dealt with one office manager while I lived there. She was terrific to deal with and seemed to genuinely care about me and what I needed from her. I feel horrible for her that she's working for such an awful place.
To start with, there are roaches EVERYWHERE in the apartment, but once you move in they just move to the exterior hallways. The plumbing is a joke and I just dealt with the fact that the bathtub held water longer than it should have and that my kitchen sink would usually back up when my neighbors washed their dishes.
The grounds would have been kept up nicely if any of the people living there weren't so completely disgusting and felt the need to throw all of their trash in the parking lot. Yes, there is covered parking, so I guess that's a plus.
This is probably one of the unsafest places to live. One of my neighbors had his car STOLEN and my car? Vandalized three times. The first time, someone scratched the driver's side door. The second time, someone broke my passenger side window, tried to steal my $100 car stereo. The third and final straw for me was when my back windshield was busted out. Nice. And I wasn't the only one, I noticed the cars around me had tires that were slashed constantly. Calling the police didn't help me at all and there was nothing the office manager could do, I suppose.
Not only that, I lived on the first floor above a couple who fought CONSTANTLY. They also favored watching movies on full blast at 3AM. I'm not a person who normally complains about noise but this was a bit much for me.
