Arbor Pines Apartments

I have had several friends live in at least 7 different units over the past 5 years. I lived with a friend for a month, and witnessed the problems. FYI: Make sure that any repairs are done at/before the time of move-in, or it could take weeks to finish. And the apartments are almost never ready to move-in on time, as preparations/repairs take longer than anticipated. The new owners have gutted and redone a few of the units so they have new carpet, and the sink, tub, toilet are new. So, I guess they are making some effort to improve them. Apparently there is only one maintenance man for about 75 units, and even though I believe he tries his best, his skills are not that great. For example, the units are all cheaply repaired. Some of the bathroom sink/counter combos have huge cracks in them, but rather than replace the sinks, the apartment patched them very messily. As far as the new management is concerned: recently, they tried to say my friend didn't pay the extra $15/mo for a parking space, when in the contract it stated that the total my friend has been paying includes the parking space. They got an attitude when the contract was shown to them. The one thing that is great about this place is that there are NO roaches, they do exterminate 1 or 2 times a year.
