It seems people only post reviews when they're unhappy - but happy tenants never take the time to give a good review.........so here's one now. I've always lived in a house so this was my first apartment experience. I was very apprehensive to say the least of what apartment living would be like. We've been here four months now and I must say I was lucky when I picked Polo Run. The pools and fitness center are not enormous but they're super clean and each and every day, the grounds are picked up of blowing litter, dog droppings, things of that nature. The tenants are not allowed to have broken down vehicles laying around [they'll give you a towing notice] and the place is kept up very nicely. I had heard horror stories about bugs down in Texas but am happy to report we've not seen one. Zero. Zilch. Maintenance is handled by importance. Broke A/C, heat, water [etc] done within 24 hours if not the same day. Other more minor things [we had a ceiling fan go out and leaky water value] fixed within a week. My own husband took months of nagging to fix little things like that. Street lights and outside door lights have been replaced quickly so I can take my dog out at night and feel pretty safe. While we're near the expressway, its surprising that I don't hear the sound. It must be the barriers alongside the highway. It's quiet and peaceful. I only had one loud neighbor which was actually evicted anyway so the rest of us can live in peace. The location itself is better than I had hoped for with the high school within walking distance, restaurants, Home Depot, PetSmart, Walgreens, Rost and other stores all within a few blocks. Oh and by the way, I absolutely LOVE having a washer/dryer in my unit. Yep, they're included! No laundromat for me! Yes, I would recommend Polo Run. I'm very, very satisfied at this point.
