First of all, I take negative reviews with a grain of salt. Don't get me wrong, there is some truth to all reviews but most of the time people take it overboard. I say that to say, I did read the reviews before I moved here and I proceeded to move anyway. Now I am not gonna lie say that my experience at TRP has been sparkles and rainbows, but it has been pleasant. I first moved in and I had a pest issue. I do feel that should have been flushed out before I moved in...but anyway, pest control came out a couple of times, but I have dogs and didn't want those chemicals being sprayed around them especially since I wasn't home. So I went to Home Depot and got some things to handle the situation myself. No big deal. I had some bad cabinet bottoms and they gave in with all my pots and pans. It took over two weeks to get someone out to handle that situation and it was a little frustrating to having to keep going to the office to remind them. Again, I have dogs and I prefer for them to be out while I'm at work, so I was having to put them in their "room" everyday thinking maintenance was gonna come that day to fix my cabinets. And on top of the delay, the maintenance accidentally spilled some paint on my carpet. The office had my carpet cleaned but again I feel that the maintenance should have set that up for me since they knew what they had done. All of those issues where under the management Winn Residential. I only know this because I was on the verge of calling corporate. I didn't because I told them about my cabinets a few days after all the rain and flooding, so I personally had to understand that my cabinets were not nearly as important as people who had their homes damaged. I just wish the they communicated a little more about the time. Now the property is under a new management. Last week I had a leak from somewhere. It was weird because my carpet in my bedroom but I couldn't see where it was coming from. Anyway, I told the office Friday morning and some one was out within a couple of hours. They cut a couple holes in my wall but couldn't find the source. Plumbers came out Monday and found the problem and fixed it. But it left me with holes in my wall and a wet carpet. Maintenance came Tuesday to fix my walls and my carpet was cleaned on Thursday. Everything was done so well and I understand the slight delay because each job took a an outside company. I'm just glad it's over with. The office wanted to replace my carpet but I opted out that because it's my bedroom... I have dresser, night stands, and the bed alone is huge. I appreciate the jester as a whole. Overall, these issues could have happened to me anywhere, and TRP did their best to meet my needs. Other than the issues I had, the office staff is great and attentive. I especially can depend on Jessica. Oh... I have been here a year and some change and I just renewed my lease.
