The apartment itself was very nice. The apartments are fairly new, and when I lived there, everything was in pretty excellent condition. New appliances, well put-together, etc. Being in west campus though, the rent was crazy-high.
Maintenance... well, the first problem we had was that our kitchen sink gushed like crazy, and that took them about 3 weeks to fix, but when our toilet backed up they fixed in in less than a day, so make of that what you will.
I agree with another reviewer that no one EVER answers the phone at the office. They are impossible to get a hold of.
The parking garage is ridiculously tiny. If one car is going up and another is going down, one of them will have to pull into a parking spot to let the other one pass, that is how small the parking garage is. There are assigned spots as well as some unassigned spots on the roof. You need an entry card to get into the garage or the apartment, but if someone really wants to get in, they can squeeze through the gates to the garage and walk through to the elevator.
Being in west campus, it is insanely loud during the weekends, and occasionally during the week. Most weekends we had a party going on above us, on both sides of us and across the hall. As a result of the parties, trash would end up in the hallways and would stay there for a few days, sometimes longer.
As far as being nickled and dimed, I can't really speak to that because one of the people I lived with spilled stuff all over the carpets and they had to be replaced, so they charged for that, but we still got the rest of our deposit back.
So basically, if you're a serious partyer with some serious money, you may as well live here. If not, reconsider living in west campus period.
