Let me tell you a story about a seemingly great apartment screws you over when you leave.
My boyfriend and I moved in Feb. of 2013. We were in love with the place and the whole complex not to mention the staff is wonderful, especially Jim. For the first month or so we would get little things at out door with cute little notes. Like starbursts with a note attacted that said "we hope you are reciving 5 star service!" After the month, it stopped. Which isn't a big deal, I understand they can't keep that up with every unit.
This complex is really beautiful on the outside, inside, you see all the flaws. In the year that we lived here, we had tried to get our units weather stripping replaced becuase well, it's like it wasn't even there. It caused bugs to get in, and we aren't dirty people. But no matter what we did, there would be ants and roches. We asked then to fix our kitchen floor, I don't know how many times, they came once and didn't even fix it. We finally had to get my boyfriends dad to come fix it.
The only good things about this place is the location, you are close to everything, and the staff when you are moving in.
It was livable in the sense that you could live here but you didn't want to.
Not to mention the gate was only working properly about 17% of the time, and 83% of the time, there were cops parked around, and in the complex.
And then the year was finally up. however, they don't tell you if you need to give a 30 day notice or a 60 day notice.
What really got me was my base rent is $1245. the last 17 days we were there, guess how much they charged for those 17 days? $1760. $500 dollar increase for 17 days. That is... theres not even a word for it.
If you don't mind matience never responding to your requests, and being able to hear your neighbors all around and living with below average construction, this place is perfect for you.
