Where do I start? From the day I moved in my neighbors complained about how noisy I was. When you live in a second floor apartment you're going to hear footsteps from above. Twice my AC went out and I was on the third floor so it gets very hot. Twice they put in a window unit for 3 days. Here's the scam and I'm not the first to have this happen. I received a bill from a collection agency for $450 three weeks after I moved out. When I called the number on the bill a really aggressive person who doesn't mind being unethical told me I owed $100 to paint the walls and $250 for cleaning and it was on my lease. It was not. There is a very vague paragraph about cleaning but this was normal wear and tear from living in an apartment for four years. I know apartments always paint between tenants and replace the cheap carpet as well as clean. They had my $250 deposit. Don't fall for this. They do it because people will usually pay just to make it go away. I will be taking them to small claims court. Read the reviews they do it to everyone. I had a beautiful view of the lake for almost four years but I found a nicer, quieter and bigger apartment in the same zip code. They'll probably try the same ---- when I move but this time I'll get something in writing that I won't be getting a nasty bill.
