This place USED to be wonderful. Used to be. For starters, It's not as well kept as it used to be. They definitely have electrical problems that never seem to be fixed.
Stay away from the "Pool of Death!" Tenants were NEVER notified of what happened in the pool on AUGUST 1, 2005. We had to hear from other people what happened and why the pool was drained for three weeks. I don't know if they ever really repaired what was faulty or if they just refilled the deadly pool for all of us to fry in. It's such a small complex that you would expect better communication from management about things that affect everyone living there. Any communication at all would have been welcomed. From what I hear, management never even offered up condolences to those who lost their friend in the horrible accident that could have been avoided if the pool had been up to date on inspections and if pool work was done by licensed professionals.
The people who live here there are pretty cool for the most part. Lots of friendly people who seem to hang out with each other almost nightly. Most people there seem to have pets, too. That's pretty cool.
Management works with some people on lowering their rent, but not with others who have lived there over 2 years. He rents the one bedrooms from $525-595.
The place is old and needs lots of repairs.
But it's so convenient.

Just don't get in the pool. There have been reports of people who smelled something burning when in the pool at the time the pool light comes on. This is POST-accident from 9/1/05.
