We've lived here for about 2 years now and love it! We also have friends that live across the street at the camden laurel ridge, which they enjoy as well. Although its cheaper than the Melrose Place.
The management and maintenance teams are stellar, and this is a rarity in the apartment business. So we definitely appreciate that. Also we live close to HEB and other stores, so we can walk to that area with no problem. There are also trails all around the area if you are the walking type.
There's really only one thing we can criticize: We live on the culdesac, and there is a guy on the corner (where the mailboxes are) that disturbs several neighbors here with motorcycles, a loud muscle car in the driveway, and barking dogs. He is the only inconsiderate person in the entire area.... there are no loud parties or loud music. But The guy rev's his bike at 7am everyday, and leaves it idling on the sidewalk for 30 minutes before leaving to go for a 10 minute trip. Then he comes back and does it again every other hour or so.
If it weren't for this, the neighborhood would be perfect! Our kids are constantly woken up by his annoying noise tho :(
