While they may offer a decent rate when you first move in for such an excellent location, that is pretty much the only thing this apartment complex has going for them. Once they get you to sign the lease, the only thing they will is try to make money off of you.

They forget to mention you are required to get your cable and internet service from TV Max (a very poor service provider) until you have signed the contract. TV Max doesn't have HDTV, DVR, and they record commercials over the actual programming! And why do they require this? Because the Montecito has a fat contract with TV Max which earns them a pretty penny. Then they rent out their already cramped gym to a physical trainer, who brings in clients who don't live at the Montecito, using up the little gym equipment they provide. And why? That is right, to make more money off of you. Then, if you are a returning customer, they raise your rates each year. While offer incoming clients much much cheaper rates for better apartments. And this is just the start of their bad customer service. Their are many other problems as well, including but not limited to robbery, loud upstairs neighbors, poor package deliver, and more. All in all, beware of what you are getting yourself into when you sign on the dotted line.
