BEWARE! I consider this review a public service. Keep in mind that apartment complexes give incentives/perks for leaving positive reviews. My apartment at Palo Verde was unlivable. Moving out after three months cost me thousands of dollars to break the lease and the trouble of packing, unpacking, packing and moving twice. The apartments and facilities are brand new and beautiful, however, because of the cheap construction I could hear practically every sound made by the people living above me. They were an older couple who were home most of the time along with the grandchild they babysat almost every day from 8 am until sometimes 9 pm. I heard constant pounding, running, dropping of objects, bouncing balls, jumping and stomping on a constant basis, sometimes for prolonged periods of time. It felt like the sound was transmitted and even magnified by the poor construction of the flooring. The noise even interfered with me speaking on the phone because the people I was speaking to could hear the noise as well! The staff were wonderful and did everything possible to make the situation better but there is no fix for construction issues.
