Ian, On behalf of our entire team, we would like to apologize for any ill feelings, and certainly for any miscommunication or misinterpretations regarding the application process. While we certainly understand that certain instances beyond ones' control may result in ones' inability to proceed with certain things, our team was in no way trying to apply pressure or any tactics but rather provide you with the opportunity to apply for the home for which you had shown interest in. Again, as certain terms/conditions in not only our leasing process but that of communities city-wide are time sensitive, our request for information and completion of the process was in an attempt to help you secure your next home. While we have done our best (as have the contractors) to minimize any disruptions, we ask that you not hesitate to contact us with any added concerns you may have, as we are in constant communication with the various contractors with the end goal of providing minimal disruptions for all. Thank you for providing us with your feedback. While we are disheartened to hear of your disappointment,we appreciate your thoughts as we do that of all of our residents, past & present. In reviewing our records,the situation referenced above is one that occurred close to 2 years ago. While sometimes difficult to understand any given situation, especially in cases such as this one where a 3rd party is conveying their thoughts on behalf of someone else, we are always happy to offer assistance within reason and within the boundaries of the legally binding TAA contract signed.While sad to see your son & daughter in law leave, we understand that certain situations may arise that prevent them from continuing their stay. We did discuss other options including downsizing from our larger 3 bedroom, however, the price was still out of their range. As we are bound by Fair Housing laws which prohibit us or any community from exercising preferential treatment with regards to pricing or any other terms, we are unable to simply eliminate any fees associated with the early termination of the contract, however, this is not, nor was it by any means us having no interest in helping as you mention in your feedback. Not only were we delighted to have valued residents such as your son & daughter in law, but it seems as that delight was mutual as evidenced by their continued residency and subsequent renewal(s). As we offer other residents the ability to set up a payment plan for any move-out balances, so too were they offered that choice, however, as those options are not exercised or no effort is made in resolving a balance, as is common business practice in all industries, we are left with no other choice than to place accounts with a third-party collection agency. Again, while we certainly wish to have eliminated any ill feelings as a result of their early move-out, we do thank you for your feedback and likewise thank your son & daughter in law for making their home with us.

Thank you for providing us with your feedback. With regards to occupancy standards, we do allow 2 persons per bedroom, which is a common practice and general rule of thumb among many communities. While occupancy restrictions may often be seen as burdensome, said guidelines are placed in order to prevent situations whereby too many persons occupy any given space and create hazards of any kind. With respect to AT&T being the only provider on our community, that is in fact true, unless you opt to obtain satellite service from DirecTV or Dish Network, however, please note that is so as a result of Spectrum(formerly Time Warner) unable to reach an agreement seen as mutually beneficial for all parties, thus resulting in their choice to depart and no longer offer their services to our community. While opportunities for additional providers are continuously sought, no agreements have yet to be made with any additional providers, however, if and when one is reached, we will notify all residents. In the meantime, please also note that while speeds may have been factor or concern for some with AT&T, our community's Fiber overbuild is now complete and all of our residents are eligible to upgrade to said Fiber services. While we understand your desire to have a washer/dryer in your dwelling by default, please note that we do not place them in all homes by default, as residents often wish to bring or purchase their own, however, the option to rent a set is available at all times, as is our 24-hour laundry facility. Should you have any additional feedback for us, or wish to discuss any of those already mentioned in further detail, please feel free to stop by the office at your earliest convenience, and as always, thank you for being a valued member of our community.
