Putting some lipstick and mascara on a problem only disguises the problem. I cannot wait to move out of this dump. From literally day one, I have had so many issues with my apartment (pipes leaking, doors not shutting correctly, electrical, bugs, etc.) I have had at least one maintenance issue every single month. Here are my major concerns... 1. Renovated does not mean fresh paint. The appliances are cheap and old and break consistently. My air conditioning bill in the summer was $250+ since there is ZERO insulation and my A/C unit had to run all day. On that same note, my A/C has now broken 3 times and had black mold/mildew dripping off of it - the fix? Spray paint the black mold/mildew white. 2. ZERO security. Homeless people are constantly running around the grounds. One night after the office had closed, a homeless person went into the clubhouse/gym area to sleep. I called the office after-hour number to report and nothing was done. Also, be wary of throwing your garbage away (which you have to walk all the way across the complex to do so) there might be someone in the dumpster... 3. I have had ants twice! It took pest/maintenance 3 days to come to my apartment, at which time I was already having to spend my own money to get the issue under control. I live on the second floor so the ants are definitely within the walls. I could literally go on and on. When they told me they were increasing my rent by 6%, enough was enough. Look elsewhere.
