I am sad to hear that you believe our staff is horrible. We strive to provide the best customer service to each resident in addition to a property we believe in strongly. I apologize if you have ever felt manipulated, or mislead in any way. I assure you, this is not our intention. Unfortunately, I have not had the chance personally to address any of your concerns and would love the opportunity to meet with and work through any issues. As one of our CWS values, we honor our word. If you were promised something, we will deliver. Concerning maintenance requests, we offer a 24 hour guarantee, so if your maintenance requests have not been responded to within 24 hours I will gladly refund those days in rent. Regarding your rental increase, we have not issued any increases resulting in a $200 increase unless it has been a very short lease. I would love to discuss this with you as well in case there is an error. Caprock Canyon recently held a Community Meeting where our residents were able to voice any concerns regarding the property, and the staff was able to update our residents on current issues and plans for the future. One of the issues discussed was our struggle with the drought. We have been unable to powerwash our buildings duw to water restrictions and promise this will be addressed as soon as they are lifted. We have sent out a synopsis of the meeting to all of our residents, and would love to provide one to you if not received. Again, we pride ourselves on our customer serivce (#1 in the nation for 7 consecutive years voted by our residents in a national survey!), our honesty, providing an amazing home to our residents, and running our business with a heart. Please allow me the opportunity to meet with you regarding your concerns and the chance to prove our dedication to you and our property. Your Community Director In Response to Update: The property was actually powerwashed this year on June 2nd prior to the water restirctions and has been powerwashed at least once every year for the eight years I have been at Caprock Canyon. Maybe you were at work when this occured? I assure you that the powerwashing took place as I personally completed five buildings on the property along with my maintenance and maintenance from other properties. I understand you current frustration about the powerwashing, as I would love to be able to have our buildings sparkle as well. Again, I have not issued 20% increases...are you sure you did not sign a shorter term lease contract and therefore had a higher premium? I again encourage you to meet with me in person, or by phone so I may address your concerns. I am not able to provide you with the means to make your home the best possible without meeting with you and addressing your concerns. I love for our new residents to walk around and meet our long termers! The reason we renew at least 80-90% of our property is because of our dedication to our residents. I assume you must have enjoyed living at Caprock Canyon if you have chosen this as home for four years? Let us try and make this right. Caprock Canyon

I apologize if you feel that you have been lied to, and assure you this was not our intention. We are dedicated to honoring our word as a company, and Caprock Canyon directly follows these values. I would love the opportunity to speak with you regarding these concerns. Caprock Canyon was built in 1994 and our fitness equipment was recently updated about 5 years ago. We are currently seeking to provide additional updates and more new equipment in 2012. We also have a service maintenance contract with a local company to maintain our equipment. Please let us know if you experience any problems as we will make sure its resolved ASAP. Again, residents are our first concern and we listen to all concerns. Every year during CEL survey time, our residents voices are used to create budgets for the upcoming years. In addition to our surveys (which we have been voted #1 in the nation for 7 consecutive years by our residents!), Caprock Canyon has recently conducted Community Meetings. The residents attend these meetings and have the opportunity to have a question and answer session with our staff. Any concerns as a community are addressed and the Caprock team has an opportunity to share any struggles, and upcoming plans. Caprock does love our furry residents, but we also care just as much about human residents.
