I rented my first apartment here at this complex. After extensive research, including with the help of several agents I chose this place. I was very nervous because of all of the horror stories I had read and was told about. I had a very positive experience while I was here. Ultimately, I concluded that because of pricing and location, it was the best value I could find. Overall, I found I had to deal with only a few hassles, minimal at most. It was quiet, safe and the office staff was very approachable, friendly and professional. Maintenance issues were the only hassles and those were not common. It is expected since these apartments have been around for a few decades. Whenever I had an issue I would contact the office and it was usually taken care of within the week. I lived alone in a 2 bedroom and electricity and water was affordable. I genuinely enjoyed coming home from work/school and spending some quiet alone time. The few times I'd run into my neighbors they would greet me. I never had a noise issues to speak of (I was on the second floor). If you're a proactive person, then living here will be great. Specifics: I lived alone in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath -Rent $810 $10 renter's insurance (typical price for location but again old) -Electricity ran $35-$45 -Water $20 -Great office staff (Meghan & Michelle) Make sure to communicate all issues, but be courteous about it. Email/document interactions. -No gym, I never used the pool either -Quiet, peaceful -parking is always available but no set spots -Old, will need maintenance from time to time -No installed lights in bedrooms but can plug in lamps (not as horrible as it sounds) -Location is wonderful (183, 45 not far, mopac not far, i-35 not far) -When I had friends over (not too often), they loved it. -I highly recommend this place.
