Talk about over-promising and under-delivering...that´s McNeil House. Their advertisements state that this community is in the Texas Hill Country...not true! It speaks of orchards and wild flower gardens, painting a picture of beautiful Texas landscape...not true! This complex is located directly on McNeil Road...very busy and quite noisy. The buildings in the very front are an absolute nightmare...not allowing for much sleep because of the noise coming from the traffic. The remaining 3 sides of the community...one side faces the quick mart across the street and the jiffy lube, another faces the elementary school in the back, and the other backs up to the middle income homes on the other side. In either direction when you leave the complex...you pass a trailer park. Get the picture?

The apartments over townhomes, which is an added plus...that is if you´re willing to pay a utility bill costing well over $250 during the summer.

Amenities...very basic. Espcially when you take into consideration the amount of rent that is being charged, as well as what the area apartment complexes have to offer as for their amenity package.
