This was a great first place to live when moving to Austin. It was close to a lot of great shopping and easy access to a lot of offices up North. The management team here was very pleasant to deal with and made the moving process is painless as possible. Since I've moved in, the public amenities(pool, gym, mailroom) have all been renovated. They take care of their grounds and it shows.
It feels like a safer part of town, which is great because there's a lot of shopping nearby. There were quite a few times where I'd walk and grab a coffee at Starbucks or grab something quick to eat at Trader Joe's. It's right next to 183, Mopac, and Capital of Texas Highway so it doesn't take long at all to get around the city(when traffic isn't terrible).
If I didn't just buy a house, I'd still be living there. It's a great place if you're looking to rent and want to live in North Austin.
