First, the rents listed on this site are out of date. They're higher now, but still below market value, meaning you won't be paying $1200 for a 500 square foot apartment. Second, this is a good place to live overall. The neighborhood is nice, theSee More >

I have lived at Tramor at the Oaks for going on five years, first in a one-bedroom apartment, now in a two-bedroom apartment. I can only say I love living here and have great neighbors, some of whom have become good friends. The complex isSee More >

Kelly, thank you for taking the time to write an insightful review about your experience and observations at Tramor at the Oaks. I agree, the courtyard is one of my favorite places on property and Joe, along with the rest of the maintenance and office team, really make the community feel like a home. If there is anything we can do to keep you as a part of Tramor for another 5 years, please let us know.

I highly recommend Tramor at the Oaks. The rents are reasonable, especially given the inflated prices in South Austin. It is in a great urban area with a public library and 24 hour coffee shop, as well as a well-kept laundromat run by a verySee More >

Thinking about leasing at Tramor at the Oaks or any other property managed by Tramor? RUN......run as fast as you can away from this place! I decided to sublease a unit here for 2 months, I guess I should have gotten a red flag rightSee More >

Tramor at the Oaks
We strive for improvement and positive, as well as negative feedback, provide opportunity for growth. For that, we are appreciative for this review. Subleasing can be tricky for both the tenant and management company. When subleasing an apartment, the tenant accepts an apartment 'as is' and unfortunately, many do not tour an apartment before signing the TAA lease. This review is an example of that. There are surface lines on the walls of some of the apartments due to the age of the property and is a result from the buildings settling. Clearly from the photos posted they were visible, which is one of the many reasons walking apartments before sub leasing is vital. Fortunately, we are planning some property improvements and this is something we will be addressing. We did have a Code Inspector and Engineer review the apartment in question and documentation was produced stating there were no code violations. We also just had a property wide inspection which passed as well! It is disheartening to hear that the perception of the staff was lackadaisical or uncaring. Our staff is dedicated to quality care and service but we understand that when people are under duress, communication can be misinterpreted. We hope the money that you received from the substantial deposits returned (that were actually monies put down by the previous residents) helped you to find a home better suited. If you, as the reader, have any questions regarding this review feel free to contact the management at the office.

I moved into Tramor at the Oaks around January 2011. Everyone on the staff has always been extremely friendly and attentive to any needs. The maintenance requests are handled almost immediately and Nikki, the property manager, is very personable and easy to workSee More >
