You seem quite upset. It is not our intention to upset you, just correct an untruth. Yes, I am in the community office. There are 2 leasing agents that are always here at 8:30, Monday thru Friday, so I know that the office is always open by 9 AM. If there is a rare occasion that the office will need to close early for a non-emergency, we always give prior notice, as we did for the resident pool party. I am indeed telling the truth, dear anonymous. Is there anything else we can assist you with? Please call or come by. Respectfully, Liz Derouen Hello anonymous, This is incorrect. Were the only two times you visited our office this past Friday and Saturday? On Friday, we opened at 9 AM and did close early for an unexpected circumstance that sadly affected a resident's life and home. On Saturday, we opened at 10 AM, which are our Saturday hours, and did close early for our annual pool party for our residents. We do so to show our residents that we appreciate them. On Sunday, we were open from 1 to 5 PM, which are our Sunday hours. Our office is indeed open 7 days a week, except for a few Holidays. We apologize that this has inconvenienced you to the point of making this post and would like the opportunity to make it up to you. Won't you please call us at 512-490-1100 or come back by? Hello Mustapha. I am sorry to hear that you still feel this way after we went over all of your cleaning fees and looked at the pictures together, which clearly reflected the need for the clean (oven, vent hood, sink, etc.) and charges (replacing bent alum. blinds and the vinyl areas due to the paint/caulking you placed there) - not just a carpet clean. And as you know, we installed mouse and glue traps in your apartment for almost 2 months, checking the traps a total of eleven times, finding no signs of mice, and only removed them at your request. Although you did stay true to your word that you would post a negative report if we did not remove these charges, we truly feel as though these were all warranted and fair charges for the work done. Dear Resident, Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your positive words in reference to our grounds and maintenance. Although we strive to keep our community exteriors updated with fresh paint, new roofs, a new walking/jogging trail, etc., we realize that we must do the same for the interiors as well. We had begun with the flooring, countertops and cabinets and the appliances are now being addressed. I apologize that you ever felt as though we treated you poorly. We remember you and your husband as both very kind and I am saddened that our actions would have made you feel unappreciated for it was never intended to be so. I fear there was a misunderstanding about paying your rent early as it has always been possible to do so; the rent and water are actually billed on the 1st of the month but pre-payment can be made at any time. Policies do indeed change from time to time and notices are given to all whom they may affect. I apologize for the misunderstanding on the gate remote. The water billing, however, has always remained submetered with the appropriate addendum. We are in the process of obtaining bids to have the submeters replaced due to their age, which occasionally results in estimated billings. Thank you for your suggestion to give notice to our residents should this happen in the future. We will work hard to put your input to good use and wish you both the best in your new home. Dear anonymous, I want to thank you for sharing your feelings and experiences. First, I can assure you there is not an on-going class-action lawsuit towards Waters Park of any kind. We are aware that you may have received false information in the mail and want you to know that none of it is true. Thank you for the opportunity to clear that up. Waters Park was built in 1995 and does not have kitchen appliances from the 1980's; we do, however, continually improve and upgrade our community, inside and out, as needed. The number of parking spaces were assigned and approved by the City of Austin at the time the property was built. Our rental contracts are TAA (Texas Apartment Association) issued and have been approved by attorneys. Many of Austin's communities use these same contracts. There is nothing shady about these forms. They are, however, legal and binding documents and if one were to break their lease by terminating early, there are indeed penalty fees, as in most contracts. On the other hand, I am extremely disappointed that you have felt like you were treated rudely by any of our team. I would like to apologize and would appreciate the opportunity to know the circumstances. You can be assured, we want to always display SERVICE EXCELLENCE to our residents and guests.
