I must say at first I was very pleased with this apartment. Huge bedrooms & closets, standard with washer/dryer, seemed great. Watch out after the check [email protected]! Because these units are ancient and poorly insulated, I averaged $190 a month for electricity. The air conditioning is out literally 1/3 of the time. I got used to calling every 3-4 weeks to have it serviced. The location seems okay, but notice you are on a dead-end street, with section 8 government housing blocking you in. Pray they don't have family wars down there.... You won't be able to come/go b/c the cops spend hours pulling the familes apart and cuffing them. These apartments average 1-2 break-ins or cars being vandalized each week. Be sure to keep records of your conversations/reciepts etc, things get forgotten or lost all too often. Over-all, they are great for the money, and awesome for first-time renters because there is no credit or background check... so put whatever you want on the application.
