They Still Suck

DO NOT EVER RENT HERE. New manager every 6 months. New parking program YOU have to set up every 6 months. New maintenance people every 6 months. Pool and Fitness Room is "only open when office is open" which is M-F 10am-5pm. NO CONSISTANT pest control. They show up solid for about 3 months then nothing for 9 months. Trash pick up is the same story. Dumpster is overflowing for 3 days at least once a month if not more. Office staff sets the bar as low as they can, then dig a hole to go under it. Cirrus Property Management should be ASHAMED of themselves and all their slumlord employees. DO NOT RENT HERE OR ANY CIRRUS PROPERTY!!!!

    AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS. My lease ends in April and it cannot come any sooner. The management is very unprofessional, they do not respond at all. I needed rent assistance and did get the help from Texas Rent Relief. This was enough coverage for 3 full months. The office manager and I quote “forgot” to contact their accountant in a timely manner and I was charged a late fee because they did not credit my account by the 3rd- so through no fault of my own, I no longer have 3 full months of rent coverage. I was extremely persistent with both TRR and Bedford Oaks to ensure my daughter and I would have a guaranteed roof over our heads for the next 3 months- I am a single mother and full time student and like many have been struggling. They are now avoiding me, and I have been trying to contact them to get credited the late fee that was applied to my account when they made a mistake they refuse to own up to.       Well well where do I begin. The office staff is very very incompetent when it comes to doing their job but are fast to charge you all these ridiculous charges that they just made up they have a couple creepy maintenance guys one just walk around pretending to be working the other just hit on all the women I was told by a few neighbors they don't fix anything water shut offs at least 3 times a week for no good reason you try to call the office and no one answers Bedford oaks was great when Samantha was the manager this new one is a joke with an attitude all the office staff really think they are something I can go on and on but I have better and more important things to do than to deal with these stuff people don't rent here you will regret it they will lie or try to lie about how good the place is I had 3 neighbors and they all lasted about 6 months.

        We have lived here for two years and at the beginning we were so happy to have a quiet unit in the back of the complex until after the first 6 months we started seeing a couple roaches. Now before moving in I did notice a few areas where previous tenants had killed roaches so we thought ok at least no live activity. We had already left a roach infected apartment beforehand so we were not dealing with the issue again. After trying to remedy the roaches ourselves we requested pest control to provide a deep intensive spraying where you are required to remove kitchen items from cabinets. The downfall of this procedure was the pest control stated to management they did not see live activity. They apparently didn't look. Management could not keep a stable contractor to maintain all units nor keep a stable agent in office, literally had hired a new agent every month or so but kept Terri, the manager on board which I started feeling bad for her as she was nice, professional, and tried hard to keep us residents taken care of by herself.           ago I've lived here for 18 months and I can't wait until my lease is up in March. When we come in after work/school we constantly smell weed and get woken up in the middle of the night by it too. The bugs are horrible and my apartment leaks every time it rains and my bedroom wall is stained from the water that gets in and the wall by my patio door gets wet too when it rains. There are bad foundation issues because the doors don't close right and there are cracks in the walls. I have a flood in my closet every time it rained because of the foundation issues and they still haven't fixed it . I have mold in my apartment due to all of the flooding. They are back charging for water when the apartment changed hands last year and that's illegal. So every month I'm paying two water bills There have been 4 apartment managers in the 18 months I've been here. Oh and don't believe the amenities that they proclaim to have.             I visited this property a few weeks ago looking at a two-bedroom. The customer service was great! Edith and her staff are amazing and answered all of my questions and concerns. I definitely will be renting here once my current lease is up!!!

              I have never meet someone so rude. I came in to see what was available & was met by a short woman named Edith. She was screaming at people and acting like ------. I would never sign a lease here as long as she works here!! I feel sorry for the staff.

                I visited the leasing office & was met by a very pleasant young woman. The maintenance men came through the office while I was there & one of them got me water & was they were both very friendly. I will for sure be renting here this summer.

                  I'm writing this review because the maintenance guys are so nice and helpful !!!! 3 times now I've been trying to carry heavy things into my apt and they came along at the perfect time and helped me. This is going above and beyond !!!! We've had office personal change several times in 2 yrs I've lived here but the girls we have now are the best. I love the layout of my apt and feeling like I have a big yard out my windows with huge trees and I don't have to maintain it but just enjoy.

                    I cam to visit Bedford Oaks in the last few weeks. I loved this property, i will be leasing here as soon as I am ready to move. The office staff was very friendly and welcoming. I believe the lady that I spoke with was Samantha. The property is very clean and they have great floorplans. It seems that this property will meet all my needs. I can't wait to move in.

                        I wanted to pause and let you know that your maintenance guy is such a joy and he took great care of all my request!!!! My dishwasher never worked better and I love my new vent hood and he is very professional, and just an all-around great worker and knows the field he is in with precision!!! Please give him a pat on the back (raise) if you can! All seriousness, he is an excellent asset to your staff! All the guys work hard and they are spread thin, so please tell them I appreciate all they do to keep my apartment running nice!!

                          Since Samantha has been in charge of the property it has changed dramatically. Anytime I have a problem or need something fixed maintenance is at my apartment quickly to address the problem. Very understanding individuals in the office and they treat you like a human being. Property is always clean and I love that it is pet friendly and affordable!

                            One of the nicest apartments I have lived at. Very friendly staff that really seems to care. They always take care of anything I need in a timely manner. It always looks clean and picked up. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to live.

                              I've lived here for 10 years. It's a quiet, very nice complex. The office staff is great and my repair requests have always been promptly attended to. While this complex has changed ownership several times during these 10 years, all have been very nice and attentive to me.

                                I love the property. It is hidden and very quiet. The oool has been redone and is like a nice hotel resort pool. I never have any problems with staff and would recommend living here. They are very pet friendly and have a dog park.

                                  I totally love my apartment and my puppy just adores the dog park. I feel like I made a very good choice moving here. I had some minor issues in the apartment but the guy who works here fixed them real fast and the lady in the office super nice. I was even able to quit paying for my gym membership because they have one there. It's also real close to the library which is cool because I enjoy to go there.

                                    I have lived at Bedford Oaks for 2 years. My home is nice, quiet. My service gets done on time. The new manager seems to really care and takes care of any issues right away. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice, quiet place to live.

                                        The management at this place is awful. Constantly changing people in the office. One person says one thing some one says something different. I am being charged 177.00 dollars on a 68.00 water bill because I did not pay it on the first. Mind you the rent was paid on time. Just not the water bill. Any utility company will charge a flat rate of whatever the percent maybe for the month not 50.00 for being late and then 10.00 every additional day late there after. I am contacting a lawyer and the utility commission to find out if this is even legal. I have lived in several complexes and even owned a house and have never ever been charged like this on a utility bill. It is outrageous. If there are any other people in the complex having this same problem please complain. I won't even get started on the bug problem in this place another thing that is on the utility bill that never gets taken care of.                                           DO NOT RENT HERE! The units are disgusting, the staff is rude and clueless, there is dog droppings everywhere and the walls/celling are paper thin. The whole time I lived there I had roaches and nothing I tried got rid of them. I was told they do pest control every 3 months, but in the 12 months I lived there, they only came through once. This place is not worth the money they charge. The unit its self was dirty when I moved in. I'm sure the carpets had been in there for years, no matter how many times I cleaned them, they always smelled. Save yourself the stress and disappointment, rent elsewhere.

                                            My daughter leased from Shenandoah Village Apartments and left without paying some of the debt. I was a cosigner and it was put on my credit. I made a deal with the collection agency and paid if off. But, now these apartments have again given it to a collection agency and it is again on my credit even though I paid it off. This happened today!

                                              Apartment complex is bought and sold multiple times a year. Office staff fail to return calls. Maintenance issues often ignored. When maintenance does come, they do not leave a note of entry but you will know they were there by their mess. Water bill for a 1 br single person is often $70 or more, which is inconceivable usage. Parking requirements change frequently and with management companies, not always given notice. Serious issues with roaches and bed bugs in multiple units. Management does not care. Foundation shifts and often could not lock or keep locked my front door. Issue was also ignored. Office hours are sometimes posted but rarely kept. Upon move out, I paid the final water bill. Now and having it taken out again from my security deposit. Sorry, not paying this company $75 twice. Truly an awful experience in the 2 years I lived there, had 5 different management companies.

                                                DO NOT RENT HERE. We made the mistake of not doing a walk-through before moving in because the apartments seem decent and the previous manager with Lynd told us that she did multiple walk-throughs herself to make sure everything was "perfect". The non-smoking apartment reeked/STILL REEKS of cigarette smoke from a neighbor or whoever lived there previously, and was not cleaned before we moved in. When we first moved in last August we asked to have our carpets cleaned and vents vacuumed to get rid of the smell. When this didn't work, the first manager with Lynd told us that she would have an ozone machine put in our apartment. She mysteriously disappeared, and when we asked the SECOND manager about the ozone machine, she told us that we couldn't have one while we lived in the apartment. All of our belongings smell like cigarette smoke now. When we moved in, we opened our cabinets to find dead and live roaches EVERYWHERE.                                                   This place sucks it's ran down when we live there we had mold in the walls a giant hole in our master closet the tile was gaped open the toilet tank was halfway in the wall we got bed bugs from the upstairs neighbors and we were going to get new tile and then they cancelled it without notifying us after 5 years two different companies and about 7 different office managers we decided it was time to move and after not living there for a year they decided that we still owed them $200 and back rent for 5 years
