There was a lot of miscommunication when trying to get paperwork done just to move in. After that, we were told to pay the day we move in (a Friday, payday for both of us so no problem). That Monday, we were called and told we had to pay the $2000 and change on Wednesday because they had Friday off and wouldn't be in the office. The unit itself is outdated and in rough shape. I have no need to go traveling to experience hills and valleys when I can just walk across the floor, which slopes especially toward the windows. Everything that could be fixed and was listed on the move-in list has yet to be fixed. That was the end of July. It's now the end of November. For example, half the microwave buttons don't work, most of the interior doors don't latch, one doorknob keeps falling off, the window screens are torn, and some of the locks on the windows don't latch. The one problem they have fixed was a malfunctioning aircon unit in the heat of summer, so that's a plus. We're really looking forward to finding a more reliable and safe place to call home with more transparent business practice.
