My husband and I moved into The Woods of Bedford after taking a pay cut. I am a very picky person and have pretty high standards for where I live so I thought I had found a great deal when I found these apartments. After moving in the Laziness that I am referring to started with the maintainance. We lived in apt. 100 and had people below us that smelled like wet dog mixed with marajuana. Our entire apartment smelled like this smell for the entire year that we lived there. Next we had a dishwasher that was leaking all over our kitchen floor and when we called maintainence about it, they said they would come look at it. I think that is all they did is look. Six months later they finally replaced it. Right after we moved in our kitchen sink started leaking and we called them about that as well. They didn't fix that until 5 months later. We also had a problem with the lighting outside our apartment building. All the lights from our covered parking area to the building that we lived in were out. Not only was it unsafe for a person to walk through there at night, we also had a rocky path to walk across that was not very easily seen in pitch blackness (go figure). They finally fixed this problem after I called for two months and then went into the office and got very direct with one of the managers. The next day the smallest light possible with one bulb was replaced and that was all they did. We also had a bad problem with these little bugs that looked like worms and had stingers on them. They were all over our carpet, behind the entertainment center, etc. I didn't even bother calling about this but the problem never went away even after setting off fumagators in the apt. When we moved into the apts., one of the shelves in our fridge was cracked, we lived with it that way for the entire year b/c they wouldn't come out and fix it. I did however write it on our move-in sheet that you write all the damages that are already in the apt. When we moved out though, the apt. manager had the nerve to charge us for it. Therefore, we didn't get ANY of our deposit back. <br>I understand that most of you reading this comment will think, "Oh she is over-exagerating, it couldn't be that bad". Ummm, yes it could. I promise!!!<br>On all of the maintenance requests, I called atleast 5-10 times and they were never resolved. I finally got so mad that I called Walden property managment on the community (three times actually), and they never even called me back. I WILL NEVER LIVE IN ANY PROPERTY MANAGED BY WALDEN AGAIN.
